Since launching international cargo routes in April 2023, Ezhou Huahu International Airport—Asia's first professional cargo hub located in Hubei, China—has operated a total of 10,953 inbound and outbound freight flights as of March 31, 2025. The airport has achieved a cargo and mail throughput of 387,100 tons, with its transportation network covering 42 destinations across 28 countries and regions, including Europe, America, Asia, Africa, and Belt and Road partner nations.
In the first quarter of 2025 alone, the airport handled 2,943 international freight flights and 105,600 tons of cargo, marking year-on-year increases of 4.6 times and 4.3 times, respectively.
Ezhou Huahu Airport is accelerating its development as a global supply chain hub. By enhancing its efficiency-driven network, it is further solidifying its position as Asia's leading cargo hub and facilitating deeper integration between China’s aviation logistics and international trade.
