Container shipping company Yangming Marine plans to optimize its intra-Asia service network by enhancing its Japan (Kansai) -Taiwan Province - South China route (Kansai Express, JKX). According to company representatives, the route will be extended to the port of Haiphong in Vietnam from the beginning of March to meet the growing market demand.
"This route extension aims to strengthen Yangming's competitiveness in Southeast Asia, capture opportunities in the region's emerging economies, and drive business growth in the internal Asian market to provide customers with a wider range of more reliable and efficient transportation services." A company representative said.
The enhanced JKX service will offer a 21-day round-trip voyage with a fixed weekly sailing schedule. The port rotation order of the updated JKX route is: Osaka (Japan) - Kobe (Japan) - Keelung (China) - Kaohsiung (China) - Nansha (China) - Shekou (China) - Haiphong (Vietnam) - Hong Kong - Shekou (China) - Osaka.
