Danish Marine carrier Maersk has signed a 10-year agreement with Singapore-based international furniture brand Castlery for Marine and integrated logistics services. Castlery plans to expand over the next few years and sees the partnership with Maersk as critical to supporting this phase of growth.
Maersk will provide end-to-end logistics solutions covering sea freight, intermodal transport and distribution, as well as warehousing services in strategic locations in key markets. "Expanding your brand presence on a global scale requires not only quality products, but also a flexible, efficient and future-proof logistics network. Our long-term partnership with Maersk gives us certainty for growth, while also demonstrating our commitment to providing a seamless experience for our customers." Says Castlery co-founder Declan Ee.
Elaine Low, Managing Director of Maersk South East Asia, said: "We have worked hard to create an integrated one-stop logistics service model that creates value for Castlery's supply chain. We are pleased to continue to support their growth ambitions around the world as a reliable logistics partner, ensuring Castlery's furniture reaches end consumers in a timely and seamless manner." This new agreement marks the success of our partnership, which we are confident will grow further over the next decade."
At the same time, Castlery also selected Maersk's Eco Delivery solution for Marine and electric truck inland transport, aiming to reduce carbon emissions.
