Recently, Ocean Network Express (ONE) announced the launch of a new route within its Asia-Mediterranean network, aimed at enhancing direct shipping coverage between the Mediterranean and Asia.
The new service, named the "Mediterranean Service 5 (MD5)," will further strengthen direct shipping capabilities from the Mediterranean to Asia, optimizing both transportation efficiency and speed. The ports of call for this new route are: Barcelona, Spain – (via Suez Canal or Cape of Good Hope) – Singapore – Shanghai, China.
According to the route schedule, ONE’s container ships will depart from Barcelona, Spain, and arrive at Singapore in 21 days, followed by Shanghai, China, in 29 days. The introduction of this new service offers customers a more convenient shipping solution from the Mediterranean to Asia, further enhancing the efficiency of global supply chains.
