Recently, the Dalian Municipal Development and Reform Commission, in collaboration with the Zhongshan District Development and Reform Bureau, launched a special research initiative focused on enterprises in the productive service industry. The primary goal of this initiative is to gain a deeper understanding of the current state of business development, listen to the needs of enterprises, and provide more targeted and effective support measures to promote their healthy growth.
On January 16, Chen Miaolin, Deputy Director of the Service Industry Department of the Dalian Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and Xu Bin, Third-Level Researcher, conducted an on-site visit to JCtrans. They were warmly received by Crystal Zheng, Senior Vice President of JCtrans Membership and Event, Adam Wang, Vice President of Financial Services, and Alice Zhang, Head of the Office of the CEO.
At the beginning of the visit, Deputy Director Chen inquired in detail about the business model of JCtrans.
Crystal Zheng explained that the platform currently has over 11,000 global paid members, with approximately 80% being international enterprises and 20% domestic. JCtrans focuses on creating a trustworthy international logistics trading platform and credibility system to help global freight forwarders achieve sustainable profitability. The platform provides solutions addressing core challenges faced by members, including business connections, cooperation assurance, marketing promotion, and operational efficiency improvements. JCtrans has achieved a leading position worldwide in terms of membership numbers and brand influence.
In addition, the company has developed a range of innovative digital products, such as an inquiry system that leverages big data for precise and efficient matching, along with one-stop integrated logistics services like online customs clearance, manifest submissions, and visualized tracking. In financial services, the platform offers value-added services such as payment settlements and insurance through partnerships with banks, payment institutions, and insurance companies, significantly saving time and labor costs for enterprises. Moreover, JCtrans organizes 3 to 5 global conferences annually, which are highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally.
Deputy Director Chen praised JCtrans for its remarkable achievements. He remarked that the company's dedication to the international logistics sector and its innovative exploration have set an industry benchmark domestically while showcasing strong competitiveness globally. JCtrans’s member-oriented approach helps domestic enterprises expand internationally and align with global markets. The company also leads the industry in digital transformation and innovation, offering valuable insights for other businesses. He emphasized that the government will continue to pay close attention to enterprise development, actively coordinate resources, and provide robust policy support and a favorable business environment, aiding Chinese companies in achieving greater success in the global market.
This research initiative not only deepened communication and understanding between the government and enterprises but also provided strong support for formulating policies that better align with the practical needs of businesses.
